Taco Gets a Sister

I got a new sister this past May. Thats her picture to the left. Mom wanted a girl so bad. She loves to put dresses on her and then take her picture. Since I would have no part in that sort of thing, she had to get a girl. I am a boy, so I don't wear dresses! As a matter of fact I like going without any clothes altogether. It's is too hot here in Texas for clothes.

I have an appointment to get my hair trimmed again, thats the only time I get out of the yard. I don't get to go for walks because I don't behave very well.

Anyway, my sisters name is Godiva. (Like the chocolate). She is such a diva dog. She has her own wardrobe where mom keeps all her clothes, jewelry and it even has a cushion at the bottom for a bed. I have been known to curl up in it though. It's nice and comfy and a nice place to get away from everyone.

Dog Sitter Video

I haven't posted in a while. I've been a little busy lately, fighting with Chico. He is getting so possesive with his toy. I can't even be in the same room with him and he growls at me.

Anyway I was so excited the other day. Mom got us a video to keep us company while she works. We sat down and watched it together the first time through. It has a lot of animals in it. I especially liked the geese. They are very interesting to watch. Now mom just puts in the video and can go in her office and work without us bothering her and whinning for attention all the time.

I am still waiting for my scratch and sniff book mom told me about last month. We are all lucky we get to experiment on everything mom sells on her website Pampered-Dog-Gifts.com

Christmas Dog Gifts

My mom tried to put a santa suit on me the other day. I didn't care for that one bit. That silly santa hat and red harness. I can get that silly hat off me really quick, but the santa suit is something else. It attaches like a harness and I am stuck. Mom threatened to parade me around the neighborhood in that silly costume. I hope she forgets about it, I feel so silly wearing clothes.

If you like dressing up though, it is really cute. It will get you lots of attention. I prefer to walk around in my birthday suit though. So does my brother Mighty Joe. He won't let mom put a hat on him for even 1 second. She is trying to get a picture of me with that suit on, but I keep knocking off the hat. (ha ha ha)

I am hoping for lots of toys for Christmas this year and lots of treats. Mom has to test all new bakeries she adds to our website. And she just added a really good one that has lots of special holiday treats. I will eat just about anything though, so its not a real good test of whether other dogs will eat them. My brother Chico won't eat them. He only eats milk bones and pupparoni. Thats just fine with me because there is more for me then.

The IBones will be in very soon. Mom is making me wait until Christmas though. I hope she sets one aside for me. I know there are already a few orders for them and it is still over a month before Christmas. I really hope we have enough coming so I can have one.

Taco moves to Texas

Well, its been a long time since I last added anything here. My life has been very busy this past year. We moved from NJ to TX in April. It was very confusing when Mom and Dad were packing things and people were coming into our house and looking around.

Then one day people came to take all our stuff out to a big truck. Even my toys were taken away in the truck. We slept on the floor a couple of days. That was fun, kind of like camping - but inside the house. Then we went for a long car ride. We stopped and slept in a strange room for a couple of nights. After that Mom and Dad dropped us off at a place they called a pet motel. We stayed there a couple of nights and finally Mom and Dad came to get us.

When they picked us up they said we were going home. I thought they meant that would be another long car ride, but we got there so quick. This was all very strange to me, everything was different here. It wasn't the home I remembered.

I like this new place, it has a big back yard for me to run around in. Plus there are so many birds to chase. They like sitting up on the fence where I can't get them, but I can still run around and bark at them. That usually chases them away.

We also get to go for walks just about every night. I want to chase after the rabbits and bark at the other dogs in the neighborhood and especially the kids on their bikes and just about anything that catches my eye. Mom and Dad aren't happy about that though. Me and Joey get together and just bark at each other and the other dogs and just go wild. We just can't help ourselves.

We also found a little dog laying in the ditch one day on our walk. He didn't look good at all and Mom and Dad picked him up and brought him to somebody that could help. Well, a week later he was in our house sleeping in my bed(s) and eating my food.

Mom says he is being fostered and is waiting for somebody to adopt him. Mom and Dad call him Chico. The first 2 weeks he was here he didn't say anything, but he started coming out of his shell slowly. That was 3 months ago and he is still here! Now he is starting to chase after some of my toys. This is something he just started within the past week. He never used to care anything about any of my toys. But now he wants them. I think its time for somebody to adopt him.

Chilly Bone

Guess what, I got another new toy. This time it is the chilly bone dog toy I love this toy. I had it for 4 days now and I stll haven't destroyed it. Its a really cool toy. Mom puts it in the freezer so it gets cold. It keeps me busy so mom can get some work done. It is all icy and I love to lick on it, it cools me off. It starts getting wet once the ice starts melting on it, but I like that. I always slobber all over my toys and get them wet anyway. This way I don't have to work so hard at it. Of course my brother Mighty Joe has one too, but I keep trying to get them both.

More Dog Toys

UPS guy came by today and dropped off a new shipment of toys. Me and Joe got the tennis balls. I got the chocolate flavored and mint and Joe took the vanilla and peanut butter. We keep trading tennis balls, so none are really his or mine. Now I will probably hang on to these really close for the next 4 or 5 days. I always do that when I get new toys. I take them to bed with me every night too.

Other toys came too. A lot of those squeaky ones. I wanted one of those soft elephants, but mom wouldn't let me have one. Those are for the customers only. Maybe if I am really good I can get one for Christmas this year. Before these new toys came I was playing with bungee dog. It is a really cool toy. I didn't even realize I had this one. Mom says its been sitting in my toy box for over a year. I don't know why I never noticed it before. It is a really neat toy. It is like a weiner dog with the body and stretches like a bungee cord. The head has a squeaker and the rear end rattles when you shake it.

Talking Dog Toys

Gorilla Dog Toy

We just got a new supply of these plush gorilla dog toys in today. Too bad mom wouldn't let me have one. She says I am too destructive. Just because I tore apart the octopus I got last week. It doesn't take me very long to tear up a toy. I love to unstuff them and take out the squeakers.

These gorillas are one of the most popular plush toys we have at Pampered-Dog-Gifts. I envy those lucky dogs that get to have one of these adorable toys. I am kind of lucky because I get a new toy every couple of months. This is a fairly big toy too, a whole 10". Its just the right size for me. My smaller brother Mighty Joe would love to get one too. I don't think they make a toy too big for him. He is a little runt. He is 15 lbs, but has very short legs. He has a stuffed bear bed that is about 4 times as big as he is. When he first got it, he thought it was a new toy and grabbed the foot in his mouth and tried to drag it upstairs to the bedroom.

Anyway, I digress. Me and Joe are still trying to convince mom we each need one of these bears. Geez, she just got a bunch in.

Cell Phone Dog Toy

I just got another new cell phone dog toy yesterday. I have been playing and squeaking it ever since. Brother Joe got a new toy too. He got the crab toy. I like that one too and keep trying to get it from him. It has sooo many squeakies in it. It has 9 squeakies and it also rattles. There is a little squeaky in each crab leg plus one in the body. It is so much fun. Joe and I each take a leg and he drags me around the living room. It makes mom and dad laugh. He can be srong when he wants to.

We both are very possesive of our toys though. We both wait for our chance to steal the toys back. The problem is Joe wants all the toys at once. He isn't content with just the one toy, he has to have them all.
